Me too, I just adore them.

I remember when I was attending a certain astronomical society when we use to hold the meeting in the evenings. It was held in a place with a number children, and prior to the meeting starting, the kids sat in front of the TV set and we would watched it with them. One of the most joyful pleasures I ever had was watching the reaction of the kids laughing and giggling at the silliness of the Muppet Show.

After it was over the kids when to bed, and we did the business of the meeting, but in my mind, I probably enjoyed more watching the show with these children than the meeting.(I remember this than anything actually said at the meeting!)

Me. Well I love the drummer Animal, and his out of control antics and outrageous outbursts like "Woman!", etc. My favourite vids were Animal and doing the song "Fever" with Rita Moreno. (2.7 million views on YouTube)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0yvHWyvexZA
Seen it a zillion times, and cannot help but laugh!

The translation in what she says is as follows;
"Listen Buddy. All I wanna tell you is that you shouldn't do that. It's not nice, you understand? Look at me when I'm talking to you. This is my number, and if you bother me any more I'm gonna hit you so hard, it's gonna leave you stupid. Cool it."
So quotes from the show specifically by Animal are at;
http://www.imdb.com/character/ch0000539/quotes

My favourite is;

Kermit: What's wrong with the drummer? He looks a little crazed.
Zoot: Oh, he's just upset about missing the Rembrandt exhibit at the National Gallery.
Animal: Renoir! Renoir!

Also "Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem" were classic.

The classic of course is "Ain't No Body Here But Us Chickens" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oqg3YWFA5nw (Nte the Kentucky Fried Chicken containers placed on the table about one minute into the vid. Hilarious! )

Waldorf: Well, this show certainly doesn't lay any eggs.
Chickens: Bwak bawk bawk!
Statler: Wanna bet?

Another one I really like is the Swedish Chef, Animal and Beaker singing "Danny Boy." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OCbuR...p_fresh+div-HM
Absolutely Brilliant!!

Great I don't have to hide my great admiration for the Swedish Chef and I can come out of the closet as being a huge Muppets fan I loved Pigs in space.
