Increasing solar activity

Continuing the recent burst of activity, a few new sunspecks are showing themselves this morning - hopefully they'll grow and put on a nice show like the last lot.

There was a very nice combined filament/prominence a couple of days ago - quite large and appearing 3 dimensional with half of it extending past the limb.

Might be time to make an investment in new solar gear with our favourable exchange rate.

I really need to get myself a PST so I can see some more detail, don't get much to look at with just a solar film.
