converting AVI to BMP

Can someone help me with how to convert an AVI into a BMP? I used to be able to do this using VirtualDub but can't seem to make it work with V1.9.7?

I use Advanced Video Editing. I would rather larger Video screen when I view the AVI but otherwise it works well.

Download the gstar 3 capture program. It has a nifty little converter in the tool box.

Thanks for the adviice. I managed to load an old version of VirtualDub and got it working. Not sure why the new version doesn't have this functionality?
