Spider and Hoverfly

Caught this lynx spider with quite a catch on the weekend. I had just given up chasing a flying version of the hoverfly when I looked down and noticed the flash of yellow from the spider. On closer inspection I noticed the hoverfly, managing to photograph the two of my favourite insects in the one shot. Bit sad for the hover though

Pretty amazing opportunity to get both like that, albeit in not so good an outcome for the fly...the detail is great

Adam, wait till you get jumpers catching crab spiders etc ;-)

Jumpers are deadly hunters, more so than the Lynx spider here.
