Jupiter, November 2, Brisbane.
Another patch of good seeing tonight, although conditions were a little breezy.
Struggled a little with the colour on this one. It was very pink/red when I combined the channels in PS. Had a bit of a play. Still not fully happy with it. I'll do a reprocess when I've got a little more time.
I'm keeping the gear set up for a run on Mars early tomorrow morning. Hopefully I'll bag my first for this apparition. Mars has just reached 8 arc seconds.
Cheers.

Lovely image Matt,
About time you got some good seeing up your way, hope it holds up through to the morning for Mars.
Very well done, indeed.
Regards
Trevor

That's a beauty, Matt. Looks really nice.
I see what you mean about the colour - some of the belts have a bit of a greeny/yellow tinge on this laptop. But it's a lovely image, congrats!

Thanks all.
Here's a slight reworking of the colour. I think it's a bit better.

Hmm, I seem to have missed this corker of an image Matt – well done.
Although Brisbane hasn’t done you any favours in terms of seeing since your move up here, you’ve managed to produce a series of world class images when the seeing does come good, despite the paucity of (local) opportunities in the last couple of years.
Well done for your determination and persistence – it has paid off!
Cheers
Dennis
