Hi,
Q1: If you have a 7nm Hydrogen Alpha filter does that mean you are able to take photos all month regardless of the phase of the moon and if I am using a Canon 400d is it worth it as I assume all images will be in shades of gray?
Q2: I often find myself in the situation of having to do a meridian flip after imaging an object for some time and would like to know if there is an easy way to do this as I have got the object centred and when I flip it manually I spend ages trying to get it back to the same location? I have a EQ6 Pro and thanks to Steve at Astrofest learnt how to use go to.
Q3: At astrofest I think I remember being shown that once I go to an object I can recentre the object and then hold down the esc key for 5 seconds which will relock my go to so I can sort of fine tune as I go?
Very formal questions as I am currently imaging NGC 1365 and friends unfortunately with the quarter moon and the wonderfull light pollution of the sunshine coast.
Thanks
Mark
