Thanks Trev, it was only a quick one and with the wind being nasty and no MPCC it wasn't bad just for a scout image, shane,dan,grehame are going out to do a bit more DSO photography this weekend, so hopefully i can take photos of this from when orion rises till dawn might do a handful of 30 min exps and a heap of 20 or 10 min. Thats the great thing with the 10" it sucks it on down!

You must have stayed up late, because I was up til 2am in the morning at dryandra and orion was just above the trees. Great image

- Alex, i was out having a look at tammin on the weekend but was badly affected by... not a breeze but WIND. out of the whole night i got 2 20 min shots (still affected and not good enough to post) but even in those shots where i have Mr. squiggle stars the horse head was compleatly illuminated and i could distinguish where the horse head finished with ease

i cant wait to attack it with gusto at 20-30 min subs.

- Sean, yes i did stay up late, it was bright daylight when i retired to the tent! thats just how it goes when your doing astro photography as you generally do all your flats right on dawn and do a packdown of your gear which all takes a hour or so.!
