Vixen LV 50mm 2", as new

A rare beastie, like new in box with caps, $100

This is a BIG heavy eyepiece and is best suited to 100mm or larger refractors with focal ratios of f/7 or longer able to fill the field of a 2" barrel. If you have a Dob or small Mak forget it, this is not for you.

It is very sharp to the edge, gives a view of starfields like diamonds on black velvet, the apparent field of view is 50 degrees.

Will post photo tonight.

Yep the south pole.

I was just kidding actually after having had a bloody cold night observing during winter and innumerable cloudy nights. Looking better observing wise thanks to el-nino, but the prospect of a long hot sticky summer isn't appealing.
