Argo Navis voucher

So, I won this $299 off voucher for Argo Navis during IIS Astro Camp, however, as the encoder kit for my mount costs $372, I can't really afford it. As a result, I have to sell the voucher so that it won't be wasted. Even if the voucher can't be normally transferred, Gary gave me permission to do it (thanks Gary).

Auction it and give the money to iceinspace. A little thank you for the great IISAC2009 this year.

I guess I could also do that.. How do you open a auction in here, or do you have to do it manually?

OK then, while the moderators think about it and advise, I'll get it started. I suggest that we keep the bids public in the thread.

Sorry IIS, but I would feel bad if you, Joku, didn't get back something for your luck in winning the prize. I think you should take the highest bid (no higher than $299) and that money is yours to do with as you wish. And my personal view is to see if a discounted Argo Navis and required accessories can go to a worthy cause of Gary's choice - maybe a State School Science program, a club with significant number of young members etc. If I was the successful bidder, I'd be prepared to donate the voucher back to Gary for such a purpose at his discretion. Of course any successful bidder can do as they wish with it, within the bounds of Gary's advice to Joku.

$80

Eric

Mods, I have no problem if you need to kill this off.

Lightbulb Suggestion:

Make a list of some things you might want or need
ie. filters, finder scope, books, DVDs, anything...

And request a TRADE.

Even open a thread in the trade forum.
There must be something you desire of value <$299

Sorry for not replying earlier.. I have been a bit busy (still should have the small amount of time).

Anyways, I'm sorry guys, but being a student and not figuring out anything I actually need that is less than $299, I'll go with Eric's proposal. However I'll donate the part that is in excess of $150 to IIS, assuming that anybody bids that high. So, apparently Eric has the first bid if he is still interested (I understand if he is not due to the delay).

I got a bid of $200 in a private message, if nobody is going to offer more, I guess that's it.
