Hmm, interesting point. i wonder if deleted posts are included in the post count.
Edit: Just checked. When I delete my own post, the count goes down.
So these are 1000 live posts I have people!!

Yeah, if you delete posts or are deleted then your post count goes down. I suppose you could extend your 1000th post many times over and get congratulated several times over.
