Galaxy NGC 253 and Glob NGC 288

Had enough time before the Moon rose at about 1AM.

Camera Canon 5DH, Canon 300mm F2.8L at f/5, Hutech LPR filter. Fridge at -10C.

Exposures 20x( 1m, 2m, 4m ) and 9x8m at 1600 ISO.

Twice native resolution 8MB

What a great FOV Bert, I like it.

You must be stocked that you worked out that lens, the star images look really nice now huh?

Thanks Mike. I smack myself regularly for being so stupid.

Just shows we should all keep an open mind. It gets harder to do this as you get older.

When the weather gets better I will give the 100ED and SN10 a run and use the same techniques. Dithering is the saviour when using 1600 ISO.
The fridge really helps as well.
