Fess up !!! who bought something expensive ?

Weather forecast for NSW coastal is gale force winds, rain and mountainous seas ....

Batten down the hatches . looks like we're in for a couple of wild and wooly stormy days.

So much for spring.

I bought some stuff, but was hoping that being in Brisbane it wouldn't have such far-reaching effects. So sorry.

See my comment under username and avatar? That stays there because it's an ongoing thing...

I bought another of those Wixey digital angle gauges.

My old one has gone walky's .... well .... I can't find it.

I didn't think the weather gods would notice such an inexpensive purchase.

Is the effet cumulative or singular? In other words does the amount or price of gear compound and extend the crappy weather or is it a one-shot thing? I believe the former.
I bought a 12" Dob and a solar filter and a new focuser for my refractor(tempting fate thrice) and a Wimberly head (neutral I think) Clouds / Rain for next 7 days anyway. Plus gale force winds. Oh, and hail, maybe with a side order of fog to go with it!
Its a good thing I didn'y buy any eyepieces (yet)or we'd be waiting 'til March.
Clear skies?????
