Winter Again

No imaging here in Mt Beauty. Winter has settled on us again. Snow falls around 300mm reported at Falls Creek with tempratures here at the bottom of the mountains about 7 degrees C.
The images below are taken from my back veranda looking accross at Mt Bogong and up to Falls Creek. The little cream shed is my Observatory.

Today was the third hailstorm in a week. On the Terry Hills radar the pixel over us was showing up in black, with a circle of red about 5 pixel radius around it. When the hail stopped the sun was out, but heavy rain continued for another few minutes.

There is supposed to be another hailstorm tomorrow.

At least it is cleaning the muck off the tiles and has put 60mm in the pool.

Not Wrong , the weather has been shocking.
Whatever happened to spring? I sure hope all this muck weather gets out the way before Snake Valley camp.

BTW nice backyard view there Doug, would look stunning in the middle of Winter.

Cheers Daniel.

I don't think the weather is going to get any better in the foreseeable future because I have just bought a Ha filter for my modified 350D.

freezing cold for days on end here in New South Pole, but since starting my new job on Monday I actually don't mind it as I don't sweat as much!

Weekend looks good though (z0mgosh)

No sign of spring here, it's even colder than in Craptember.......but ofcourse a typical spring in Melbourne tends to be very vile anyway.

Had some clear nights last weekend but as fate would have it, I got food poisoning Which incidentally is almost as unpleasant as winter/spring in Melbourne.

Weather is expected to fine right up on MONDAY though
