What song was #1 on the day you were born
Bit of fun here, have you ever done this?
See what song was #1 on the day you were born.
My number #1's are:
'You're So Vain' by Carly Simon in the US
'Long Haired Lover From Liverpool' by Little Jimmy Osmond in the UK
'Ben' by Michael Jackson in Australia
See which songs you get

1962... LOL! My mother was having me, J.F.K. was struggling with the Cuban Missile Crisis and Frank Ifield was yodelling on radio. Argghhhh! Poor woman!
My younger brother had better music to be born to in 1964 - Rolling Stones, Cilla Black and the Four Seasons.

Spooky!!!
My friend, who is saying with me, was born on the 4th January 1984.
In Australia the No.1 hit was " All Night Long (All Night Long)" by Lionel Richie.
She says this was really appropriate, as her mother went into labour at 7 pm in the evening, and she born at 6 am the next morning.
Spooky!!

Love the musician jokes on this site. I.e.
Two prisoners were waiting to be executed.
"Any last requests?" asked the jailer.
"Yes", replied one of the prisoners, "I love music, so before I die could you play me 'Everything I Do' by Bryan Adams'"
...and the second prisoner said;
"Kill me first."

Hi Enchilada,
I have a hard copy of the music charts which date back to 1956. I also have info on the pre 1956 music.
I use this info to compile special CD's.
When someone has a twenty first birthday I compile the No.1 songs from the year they were born onto a CD and present it to them.
It goes over very well.
Pre 1956, I can find music that was most popular and what was played on radio. Even get dates that would be within a couple of months of the release date.
Back then no one compiled any detailed statistics on music charts.
If anyone wants info on pre 1956 I can help with what I have.
Goodnight Irene, Ol' Blue Eyes, F. Sinatra............ UK
Goodnight Irene, Gordon Jenkins & The Weavers... US
Cheers Marty
