rcx and phd

Hi All
I have a RCX10" on wedge is there any reason when autoguiding with phd all works OK apart from it changes slew rate from 1.5 to 5 degrees a second, but does not when not guiding.

Hi Peter.
THis sounds a bit like a "gremlin" in the RCX's firmware. I have an LX200GPS and haven't encountered anything like that.
It sounds like you are using the Autostar to guide as opposed to the RCXs ST4 guide interface. Have you tried the ST4 guiding?
What Autostar firmware version are you running? Have you upgraded to the latest version from Dick Seymour?
If you haven't already done so, I would post this question on the RCX Yahoo group as well.
Cheers
Matt
