Thumbs up Cats win!

Woooohooooo!

Geelong has won its second AFL flag in three years.

St Kilda were very good and can take great heart from a terrific showing.

But as for the cats........

Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh baby!

Yeh Matt top game and the Cat's deserved their win.

Claude, what are you on about. Sounds like you must be thinking about that game the poms play, I think I have seen it, like years ago. All those blokes with no necks running into one another played at suburban grounds in front of crowds of a couple of hundred people. I thought that was carry ball, isn't foot ball where they actually kick the ball?, like mostly.

Not really much of a comparison, real Aussie football, the brand played by real men, get's more spectators to their practice matches than this other lot are likely to see for the whole season.

lol

Being Geelong born and bred, you'd imagine that I'd be over the moon... well.. I'm happy for them.. but would have preferred to see the bombers win the grand final this year... too long between drinks I rekon..

Go Cattas!! Great game to watch too..

Well done Cattas,

A wonderful tight game, nothing in it until the last 10 minutes

Hang on, Claude, are we talking about the footy code which use the playing tactic of sticking a finger up the opponent where the Sun doesn't shine??

Still can't believe the game...awesome. But the ol' saints lost. ..Just..
But I think Jason Gram was stiffed by Chapman on the Norm Smith (equal votes), but because Chapman had more 3's, he won it.

Stephen...right on...

I feel sorry for the Saints. They were overall the better team until the last quarter. I mean they had it in their 50 so many times until the last quarter. If they could have kicked a few of those easy misses it would be a different story. How about that point which was counted as a goal for Geelong!!!!

We need video replay for the umps!!

Then again, the mighty Pies didn't make it to the GF, a good thing though, I dont need to watch them loose another GF :p

Cheers,
Greg
