Mars last night

Mars taken last night at 1.00am, seeing 5/10.
This is my initial attempt at processing whilst being sleep deprived, slightly overprocessed again to bring some features out, but will try to process again in the next day or so. Enjoy!

Hi John,

Nice!- that dust storm activity is still going strong I see, may even have spread a little. I was going to ask about the Astra Image program, is it freeware like registax. I've been using irfanview, but it doesn't have the unsharp masking.

cheers,

Robert T

Thanks for the comments everyone.

Robert _T Astral Image is available free as an eveluation or you can buy it but all you do is a print screen cut and paste into something like Photoshop once you have finsihed processing. It's an awsome program, Mike (Iceman) is the one that put me on to it.

Nice image there John. Very nice detail. I wish we had some decent seeing. Mars will be gone before the seeing gets above 6/10.
