Art work in Townsville

Had a walk along The Strand yesterday. It is Emphereia (Sp) time where a series of artworks are positioned along the beach - excellent.
Pics dont do them justice, they were supherb.
There were about 30 of them, and kept me entertained for quite awhile, though was hard to narrow down the pieces for inclusion here.
Very hot work work as temp hovered around the 30dg

YEAH Great. It reminded me of when we were up there for my wife's treatment and they had all the sand sculptures really good

I told them they could use my beach hut, I didn't say they could move it!!!

Townsville Rocklobster....he's only a small one, should see the fellas you get over at the Cape!!!!

The Strand is legendary for the sand sharks....gotta watch out for those

It happens every 2 years, and certainly worth a visit.
The lobster is HUGE, prob about ... 4 metres long, and a beauty.
Beach hut was a cutie, could stay a few nights there.
