Ngc 300

Hi all.
Got out under the stars for a quick imaging session tonight, tried for NGC 300. Was still lowish and the sky not very dark here, but here it is.

4 x 5 min ISO 800
10 inch F5.6 newt. MPCC, no filter.
had to really stretch the levels in Photoshop to bring it out of the light pollution, so its a little noisy despite using Noiseware.

Yep Its a satellite thats gone through one of the individual images. A faint one as it wasnt apparent on the original unprocessed images.

Thanks. Yep it was a tough one to find, took me 1/2 hour to track it down and get it reasonably centred for imaging. Paul has 2 inches more aperature and darker skies, hes got a real nice image of it http://www.skylab.com.au/pmsa/ngc300.html
