Uranus & Neptune

Both Images of Uranus and Neptune from this year were again taken using the Eye Piece Projection setup as described in the other post.
The effective focal length in this case was F52. Taken with Philips ToUcam.

Sweet! Although there's never any surface detail or anything at all interesting, I always love pics of our solar systems other blue planets! I really like Neptunes colour. Greeny blue looks awesome!

Hi Bert,
welcome aboard. It sure is a different sort of forum.
Your outer giants are very nice, and somewhat elusive, well done.
Another good one to try is Mercury, and it is particularly well placed for us at present.

That sure us an interesting colour comparison. I have spent a lot of time observing these beauties this spring. I never tire of the view, even though they are somewhat monochromatic. I have not, however, been aware of the significance in colour, they both look like duck egg blue to me when visually observed through my SCT.
