Dust Storm On Mars

When I was observing Mars on Saturday night I noticed that there was a large dust storm close to the possition of valley marinaris, over the two nights of observation I was able to see movment of possition of the storm. I checked images of mars on another web site which confirmed my observations. Scope used 16" F4.5 dob ,eyepieces used 13mm nagler 9mm plossl and 7mm Ortherscopic with 2xBarlow combinations, seeing at times was 8-10,10 being best. It lookes like I will have to waite till the end of the week to observe Mars again due to lots of thunder storms due till the end of the week.astroron
