After our recent tennis match of posts, I was thinking the same thing!

What a great suggestion, maybe its something the website dudes can coordinate hey?

IIS Chat.....also, while we are at it, an RSS feed has been on the cards for a while too. That would be nice...

Top marks Jen, good work.

Though, they may restrict emoticon use.....just kidding!

Cheers

Chris

I voted NO.
Only because there's approx. a decade of my life that #IRCnewbies owes me!
Like you Jen, I don't think I'd ever leave.
IRC is evil!

IRC = Internet Relay Chat

There are servers located all around the world that are there just for people to chat in real time(text)
It's kinda old hat now, as old as the web itself.
Things like ICQ then MSN followed by Myspace then Facebook and now Twitter have kinda killed it, but it's still there and in use... and it's realtime.
Need a client program like mIRC to use it though.

If you would like to see what its like(kinda...) then check out http://www.dal.net/
On that page there is a Java chat client, not great but usable.
Enter a nickname in the box and click 'Go!'

When it's all done, type the following:
/join #IceInSpace
