Yet another widefield

Shot around Sagittarius with the 70mm and 400D. Pretty happy to catch a number of objects the major objects listed below.

M20
M22
M28
M17

um, er, Tony, no picture attached, although that M8 is very well coloured black, and the white background really brings out the M22 well.

Nice job on the typing!

Oh that is nice!! I want to start doing similar shots, I use my 300mm lens but my stars go like ballons, not pin point. Am I pushing the lens to far? I would love to get in that close to the milkyway.

Only using a 70 mm here, and not a great quality lens at that. 70 - 300 kit lens that came with our 400D.
