Opinion Wanted

I have put aside $5G to have my teeth fixed. The present condition does not worry me as I am quite happy eating soft foods. Do you think I should forget the teeth and put the money to some better use like a CG11 mount?

They make many mounts, you only get one set of teeth...

If you want to be happier get your teeth fixed.
Nothing worse than having your attention pulled on to
some part of the body that is easily fixed.

Yeah get your teeth done, I recently spent similar on mine but got more to do.
Bad teeth can lead to other problems.

Oh, and it's nice being able to chew again!

Interesting. As this was tongue in cheek request I thought I would get more people saying get the mount. Actually I will be getting the teeth fixed (six extractions and two sets of dentures) and getting astronomy equipment as well. However the G11 can wait till I am more proficient in photography.

Ouch. But then I've just forked out $2K on a root canal to keep one tooth. That was much easier to get past "the accountant" than another CCD will be.

Actually three of the teeth have already had root canal surgery and caps. The caps lasted about 6 months before I broke them off. I had the caps replaced a couple of times but they did not last long before I broke them off again so I just left the stubs. That was 25 years ago. I broke another tooth a few weeks ago so I am going to get all the damaged teeth out and dentures.
