Took this shot using a little hand held tonight at around 7pm.
One shot of a series of 15 exposures (which I may or may not stack later and see what I get...probably not worth it since it's a hand held)
Anyway, it's a shot around Crux-Centaurus. You can see all the usual objects...Alpha Centauri, Hadar, all the Cross stars, Alpha Circini and some of the stars in Musca, plus a faint Omega Centauri and Jewel Box.
Some processing in The GIMP (unsharp mask, touch up on the highlights and such, colour balance and some curves to taste)
