NGC 1365 Fornax 2nd try

Another attempt on 1365, this time with an unobstructed
light path (Filter wheel was halfway between filters last time!)

Seeing was not brilliant, but focus was better.

This galaxy is just fascinating to look at...one of my favourites.

Great shot, Steve. I love those negative images, they really bring out the fine details in objects and this is a typical example. A great galaxy to look at

Lovely images Steve. You’ve recorded some very nice detail in the core and spiral arms and like you, it is one of my favourite galaxies. Now on my list to do!
