Hi Daniel.
What type of orion starshoot did you have?
The auto guider or the solar system imager or the pro
The meade always has a star in the picture and this one is the pro so it is more sensitive than the DSI colour.
I can try it out tonight for you if it is a bit clear.
I have a qhy5 so i can compare.

Daniel i just finished the comparison and there is no doubt that the DSI is a lot more sensitive than the orion.
A lot more sensitive
Both 1sec with phd thru the Skywatcher 120mm achromat.
first pic is qhy5 second pic is DSI pro.
