Voice association with usernames

This is a "just out of curiosity" poll.

Over the last 12 months many of us have had the opportunity to meet face to face. After meeting someone, when you read their posts do you hear their voice reading their post for you?

I've never met any of you yet, therefore I make the voices up to go with the post if that makes sense?? Quite intriguing really.....For everyone here, by reading their posts a 'picture' gets built of what you THINK they may sound like, look like/character etc.

I've spoken with Dave P on the phone (which I was nervous about? & found it nerve racking to make the call!?) & now when I read his posts.....I hear his voice, yup!

Asimegaposter has just said exactly what I was going to say.

I have never met any of you but you all have individual 'made up' voices to me. I have spoken to only 3 members on the phone and they didn't sound like the voice my brain had given them!

Funny how you mention this point Paul as I often notice how I give everyone a voice.

I also see your faces thanks to the 'Show us a pic of yourself' thread

i have spoken to asimov, ken, mick pinner. All sounded roughly what i had pictured in my brain from post. Personalities matched the voices pretty well.

But the one that was spot on was when i rang ice today (can't remember what it was for .......something about he got a handful of naglers for testing and was wanting to send out to a few of us or something like that, i could be wrong.. dunno...).. anyway Ice sounded just like he should have from his post and his pictures!!!!
