how long will jupiter spot last?

hi all
was just wondering how long the spot on jupiter will last for? i'm going to the stockport observatory on the 28th of august and hopefully the night will be clear. will it be visible that night?

ps how beautiful is the full moon. it never ceases to amaze me.

It's smearing out a lot now. I think it would be getting difficult visually. By 28th August - I doubt any visual observation is possible - perhaps a few residual ripples in the clouds for the photographers?
