Cool Keyhole Image

Hi All,
I hope your not sick of my images yet!
Here's another of the Keyhole Neb in Carina. Taken last night after canning Saturn due to poor seeing.
I wanted to have another go at the Keyhole at f/10 as before I'd done it at f/6.3 and manual guiding.
Set it up, and found after a couple I was getting tracking errors due to my guide scope being f/5. So I put a 2.5x powermate in the guidescope and got it up to f/12.5. This helped alot, but the poor seeing started coming into play. Still it was not enough to destroy the image.
See attached... .
Details: 10x3mins exposures @ ISO1600
C8 f/10, guiding at f/12.5 with ToUCam, Starmate, & K3CCDTools.
Stacking, curves & levels in Photoshop. Very little post image processing.

Nice one Rob,
Is it worth posting a side by side of this and the other, perhaps trimmed back in size to fit them together.
Be a good comparison.

Ok Gary,
You asked for it. Here is old vs. new. If you can get your eye around the colour difference, the new image is much sharper and has better detail contrast.

Rob,
perfect, full credit. A much improved difference.
Good to see I/we have moderated your whacky sense of colour appreciation as well.
Get to that dark site tonight for M42. Be keen to see what happens.

Whacky sence of colour... Hmmmmm...
Yes I have had a tendancy towards pink at times, but that's just a hang over from the film days when everyting was red!
Looking good for tonight. Hopefully those Aussies will let us have some of their fine weather for a few days. Full Moon too. Perfect.
Full credit as always!
Cheers

Opps... I guess I meant new Moon. Full Moon on Jupiter's east cape! Just not sure which one. Smokin'! Me.?.
Might get lucky tonight, but then again, the westerly has picked up which usually means clouds after dark.
