It is a Celestron 130 SLT

5.1" Aperture

Go-To Nexstar Mount (I think there is backlash or something it moves really slow and does not sound right when its moving up)
If i sell it would include 25mm, 9mm eyepieces they are celestron i think there plossis not sure.

Please tell me what its worth and if anyone is intrested

Nexstar SLT130

Nicholas,
I have an SLT130 which I use for ease of setup when performing public and general viewing for newbies, as it is easier to dial up the objects and then track them.

I have had mine for almost four years and I paid $700 for it (Australian Geographic had a sale + member discount so it was $1099 RRP).

I believe they are around $700 new now.

How old is yours? What condition is it in?

Cheers,
AlexB

I bought it in December 08 condition the scope is in great condition though the mount i think has some backlash between the gears im not sure. But apart from that its a great scope and it seems to track fine. are u looking at buying another one?

Unfortunately not at this time

Having just paid for a new flashable hand controller and replacing one of my motor drives, I am now at a point where the home banker is saying no way to any expenditure until I prove I need it.

I do like the scope and it is ideal for a beginner that wants to easily learn how to find their way around the sky.
In dark skies with an imager you can get some pretty nice pictures as well.

Good luck with the sale/trade.

Regards,
AlexB
