thought it was a transit

I was looking at jupiter that night and i actually went in side to look up shadow times because there was a dark spot on the surface. I easily saw it from Melbourne through a 12 inch dob at around 150 mag..

I saw it as a smudge through my ed80 using a 5x barlow and 13mm wide view.
Hoping for better resolution using the 8" tonight, if the transit is favourable.
