Venus, Mars, Uranus, Jupiter, Neptune and the Moon out and about?

Hi all!! Just wondering if you could confirm or deny, on the 15th in a few hours at 4am, will several planets be visible in the sky? I'm guessing it is more likely I still haven't got the hang of this astro program...

I'm not expecting to view all with my small scope, but I thought I would get up if they were out.

Thanks.

Did you get out?? Well that is a bit dissapointing. I went out but the seeing was not so good. Fine mist roled in. That pretty much killed my wide field shot likely hood. Went back in after that.

Looks like i'm starting to get the hang of it... This makes me happy as I can start planning for future events...

Sorry bit of a noob question. Do that many planets come out often, on the meridian line? (meridian line, I don't even know if that is the right term.)

I am just using the free software from Celestron "The Sky". I have selected "use clock settings", as the location section is US. Up until your post I did not know the Sydneys Long and Lat. I will try and punch those in, although it seems almost correct. Southern cross is in the right place and tracks similar to outside I guess.

I know a lot of people use SkyMapPro, would it be a good idea to ditch "The Sky" and download SMP? I am starting to like using "The Sky", as it seems to be aimed at the beginner. Lots of information and instructions. I think I will get SMP, to check it out. Thanks
