EOI: RCOS 12.5" Ritchey-Chretien

I'm considering selling my RCOS 12.5" R/C.

Features:

  • Zerodur optics (1998) - almost zero expansion
  • Protected Silver coatings - superior to aluminium almost 96% reflectivity violet -> far red
  • Carbon Fibre Tube - low expansion: the scope stays in focus longer
  • Focusing via electric secondary - controlled from hand paddle
  • 2.7" AP focuser - built like Fort Knox
  • Cooling fans for quick temperature equalisation
  • Top and bottom Losmandy dovetail bar

I'm looking for expressions of interest/offers.

I bought the scope from Greg Bradley last year and as near as I can figure, this scope used to belong to Herb York - I dont need to tell you what that means!! Do I?

Many terrific images have been taken with this make/size of scope over the last few years, just travel the boards - Anacortes is a good place to look: http://www.buytelescopes.com/imagegallery.aspx?p=2190

Images sent to your email address on request.

Yes you can!

Hopefully this means that it is a superior scope - can you believe that?

Yes you can!

Herb

He is a bit of a gorilla that one.

The one I'm thinking of is sophisticated, even handed and gentle as a lamb. Hi Herb

Or some reasonable facsimile thereof
