M20 500d

Hi. Just a quick pic useing my new 500d I drove 600km to get only 40 mins of data(fog and spotlights)so I HAD to try and process something of what I collected. Image is 8x5mins canon 500d-T1i,ISO800,ED80,Heq5 pro,guiding phd,DSS,PS4. Image cropped to minimize coma hate coma... Cheers and clearskys!

I'd say your hard earned effort has paid off Darrell. A clean image with pleasing star colours - especially for 40mins of data. Looking forward to seeing more. Well done.

Ah the trials and tribulations of imaging. Can be quite disheartening but the final result can be worth it. This image looks good for only 40 min. Love the amount of blue reflection neb you have captured.

that was quite a good effort, extremely well processed for 40 mins data. nice star colors, the reflection neb is well presented as are the Ha regions, and very little noise for an object that has had to have some pushing to bring out the faint detail.

i could just say nice image, but i think it deserves more than that.... well done.

Great image 40min in a dark sky spot is worth 2 hrs in the suburbs
