SkyWatcher EQ6 Pro mount

http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/..../helpsign3.gif

G'day

I am looking at buying a Skywatcher EQ6 Pro Mount to replace my lx-50 fork mount. I have a few questions and if anyone has any advice it would be greatly appericated:

1) Will this mount be capable to holding a 10' OTA to take decent astro images?
2) How difficult it is to remove the fork mount and what is required to installed it onto the EQ6?
3) Has anyone purchased one from China, how much did it cost with shipping and who was the seller?

Thanks in advance

Kind Regards

Palmo

1) yes

2) I'm not sure, no experience with doing this

3) buy local, it isn't worth buying direct from China, and you'll get no warranty. Buy from Bintel is my advice, as they have a full Australian warranty unlike some other Australian retailers.

Buy local for warranty reasons
you'll need tube rings to fit and a Vixen dovetail
