Summers on the way

I noticed this morning that the sun now sets at 4.57 and not 4.56.

Days are getting longer and summer must be just around the corner.

My iPhone tells me that today will be 22 seconds longer than yesterday. How informative!

I really don't know how I've survived up until now. I don't!

I remember in one of Len Beadle's books him talking about a trime when they were stranded in the western deserts somewhere. They were visited each afternoon by some aboriginals, who were most likely seeing their first white men. One day the cook was looking at his watch and commenting that he hoped they were OK. Why? Well they're 5 minutes late. Without any form of timekeeping they had been arriving within one or two minutes of 3.45 every day.
