Hey Trevor,

Thanks for the comments, I'm learning to use eqmod with the eq6 pro and using the sidreal rate to track, if that's what you mean.

Can you also explain what IMO means?

It's looking very good Darren. You've nailed the tracking and the focus so you're 99% there. Just need more data now.

Yes Trevor,

80 mm Achro!
IMO doing the job well, using the orion guide scope rings piggybacked to the ED80.

Running PHD with a SPC900NC webcam after using EQAlign to get accurate drift alignment for 10 minutes on each axis.

Also using a Bhatinov mask attached to the dew shield to assist with focus!

It's slowly coming together. I've set up a few times now and not even managed an image due to bad weather, clouds etc.

It's all fun though and I'm getting a bit happier with the quality of the images I'm getting.

Nice image Darren, You are well on the way with this image. Focus, guiding and capture are very good. Try using Flats and bias calibration and just keep a check on colour balance and you will nail it very well.

Yes Doug, it all seems to be going reasonably well. I've now completed a full set of Bias frames but have had very disapointing results with Flats, more work and hopefully I'll start to see the fruits of my labours so to speak!
