Pronounciation Question

This is not a technical question but a general question.

What is the correct way to pronounce 'ToUcam'.

Is it 'Too Cam' or 'Too You Cam'.

I only ask so I don't sound even more stupid than usual! I seem to pronounce a lot of things wrong because I only read them, not hear them.

eg: How many people say or read 'Houghy' as Hewie?

It wasn't until Houghy rang me that I found out it is pronounced 'Huffy'.!!!

And all those Star names! Wow!

Sorry, I am waffling. Back to the question: 'Too Cam' or 'Too You Cam'?

Thanks Bert. That's how I read it but didn't want to seem dummer than usual by saying it if it was wrong

Tony, wake up! and act like a chook again.

I was taught you stay dumb (ignorant) if you don't ask questions, even when it's obvious to everybody else. Most of the time the smug are misguided anyway because they were too afraid to ask in the first place.

It took me quite a while what the term ToUcam meant as well, until I did a Homer, DUH!Or is that DOH!

Hey, that's excellent Houghy, but 'Huffy' isn't in the list!

Most of them are the way I say them, only a few I was getting wrong. Thanks

Houghy... I've always read it a "hor-gie" (aka corgi the dog) but with an H instead of a C.

I used to get Puff'n Stuff at primary school, all through late primary and Highschool until now I have been known as "huffy". On NBN news's weather segment last week I have a picture shown for their weather shot of the day. Garry youngberry pronounced my name as "how" .

Most people still knew who it was but
