The Good Shepherd

I probably wouldn't have posted this...but seeing as how I was there...it probably would be remiss of me not to...especially after Humayun's prompting

The colour image was already quite nicely contrasted, which suggested it would make a nice black and white conversion.

I'm glad the moon was also out at the time of capture, to add a little astro flavour to the shot.

I hope you like it. For those unfamiliar with this location, it's the Church of the Good Shepherd at Lake Tekapo.

We're off for three days in Queenstown tomorrow. We've spent the last two days cruising Doubtful and Milford sounds. Extraordinary scenery. I got hundreds of shots which I'll work through over the next few days and post a few of the best.
