where did you download them from mate???? they are great! hee hee

by the way, collimation seems a lot better, but stars still don't focus spherically for want of a better term when i make tiny movements in the focusser, i think i will wait for star camp! Thanks for your help!

I really like the way the lightning can also be seen going upwards from the cloud in pic 1.

The best strikes came when is was directly over-head. It was raining hard though & I wasn't going to stuff my camera up. Glad you like em' anyway guys. Gotta take pics of SOMETHING in this rotten weather!

No scope Davo...Just the P&S kodak. AVI mode & just guess where the next strike will be. Those 4 pics are from 5 different AVIs ranging from 2-4 mins a piece. Probably 2 hrs process work due to my clapped out computer. Process 1....re-boot etc etc..

I missed a majority of lastnights action I was involved in a three car collision yesterday afternoon so I was a little sore, also the video camera decided to stuff up also (chewed a brand new tape). Not having a good run. Can you make some small AVI's John of the strikes? In pic 1 the strike you see up in the frame is actually reflection inside the camera lens quite common using video camera or similar type cameras with lens. It is often mistaken for feelers which seem to come from the ground, trying to connect with the main channel.
