M83 - First image guiding

Hey all,

Finally got the guiding fitted, toucam through 80 mm achro running PHD.
Drift alignment with eq align. 10 x 4 minute exp, eos 1000d through ed 80.
ISO 1600 ICNR off, darks and bias frames applied, no flats as I seem to have developed a problem taking them, with them washing out the left hand edge of my frames<<<< any idea's?

Nice image, be it a bit small. Washing out one side of the image could be a matter of camera alignment or it could be that you are taking your flats a little too bright or dim. Check the histogram for your flats and also make sure you use bias frames with them. It does make a big difference.
You have a bit of field curvature in the corners but that can be corrected by adding flattener to your imaging train or by cropping the image to remove it.

Looking good though.

Guiding looks really good mate! I reckon there's more data in there that can be stretched out with further processing.. Great start though.

Alex.
