m82 81 widefield

Here is my finished Image this is 90 x 5 mins iso 800
taken with Canon 40D (Modified) and Tak FSQ106N

Thanks Guys I am happy how it turned out and can you believe there is no dark frames in this image and temps around 60f with a dslr it should be full of noise maybe 90 images is the trick

Super image Les. Very smooth considering NO DARKS ! The 90 subs certainly paid off

The 40D does a fine job for sure

90 subs is the norm I am in the middle of doing the cresent nebula I tried OIII and HA have 10 hours worth of data now I have to figure the best way to process it
