animated thumbnails going wierd?

Not sure if it's just me, but lately if people have posted an attachment that's an animation, the thumbnails are all crazy. Not static image, but clearly not a thumbnail version of the animation. It's like something has gone haywire with the downscaling or something.

Yeh I've noticed it too. Not sure if it's the vbulletin software doing it or something else.

Will see what Terry thinks.

Not really a problem for me.
Cheers Kev.

Looks like the converted thumbnail animations are not erasing the background between GIF frames. I'll have a look at it.

Thanks for that Terry. Haven't noticed it on any new posts, but this post I just viewed is still showing the problem:

I notice the original was posted 10/5/09 before you fixed it, so assume it fixed only new uploads.
