SBIG ST2000XM (with newer KAI2020M) CCD Camera package

Hi everyone,

Have a CCD imaging camera that I would like to sell for an upgrade. This camera, the SBIG ST2000XM comes with the newer chip (KAI2020M) which has lower read noise and dark current than the earlier KAI2001M version. I would like to include the SBIG CFW-8 motorized color filter wheel as well. I am the original owner and purchased it new in late 2007. This is the dual CCD sensor model that features the TC237 guide chip and high-speed USB interface. Note it does not have the remote guide port and rack handles.

I can include a set of LRGB filters (also bought new) from Astrodon and this is the GEN1 'I' Series LRGB parfocal filter set, about the best in its class. I also have a Astrodon 6nm Hydrogen-alpha filter. All these filters are installed in the filter wheel currently and has been installed since bought new. I have yet to touch the filters for cleaning but never felt the need to.

The package also includes the SBIG AC power supply, USB cable, 2" nosepiece, and SBIG optocoupler and cables. I would like to include the optocoupler only as an additional option purchase, but can give a good price if bought with camera. I have been using the optocoupler with both Losmandy G11 and GM8 mounts and work well. The camera also includes the enhanced dessicant plug from Particle Wave Technologies.

This camera has been a joy to use and the following are links to my personal website that showcases these images taken with a variety of instruments from a Takahashi 5-inch refractor to Pentax 3-inch refractors.

1) Camera
2) Filter wheel
3) Miscellaneous items that came with it (USB cable, PWT dessicant plug, power supply, softwares - CCDSoftV5, TheSkyV5 Lvl2, CCDOps, CCDSharp, SBIGDriverChecker, etc)
4) LRGB+Ha

If you are interested in the optocoupler as well, ok! I change my mind, free!

Hope this is not too long a post, but it's better to describe the package properly!

Cheers,
Remus
Update (22/05/2009): Decided to keep the ccd camera system. Item withdrawn.
