Quickie Omega Centauri with 280mm lens

Hi all...
Taken on saturday night whilst waiting for other stuff to rise!

Bit of fun - not my forte!!

Leave this stuff to you long FL chaps!!

68 mins total, 70-200mm f4L lens and 1.4 x Extender

Stars are a bit "eggy" as this was the night I had some trouble with my mount!

Just posting cause I like to!
Doug

High Res (repro due to red!)...

cant tell eggy stars from small pic , looks like good resolution too and into the core. You might just balance the color (seems a little reddish on my screen, then after if you need color try upping the saturation)

Colours and res look pretty good Doug. But are those stars a little eggy on the right or is it my eyes?

Yeah Craig they are - mount was playing silly b's on Saturday night due to this problem...

Think the egginess might be because of that.
