My Dob is ready for its 400km roof surf to Dorrigo..... have encapsulated its box in a shroud of concretors plastic.... it would survive the average North American hurricane now!

Hopefully I will actually unwrap it at my destination this time! I hear the weather may be good for the weekend.... fingers crossed everyone.... I have a new lens to baptise.

Thanks.... I figure if I hit some freak storm head on the car may not survive, but that scope will be dry.... hehe

I'm baptising an eyepiece too, not a lens - don't know where that came from.... I guess it looks like a lens....

What eyepiece are you baptising? Size?
Do you need God Parents for it- Plas?

my new Pentax XW10.... cloudy since I got it - of course as soon as the scope is wrapped it clears.... since I have only looked through my series 500's so far, I'm expecting something special from this little (actually its quite big!) EP.....
