Which Galaxies can I see?

Hi,

can any of the WA guys and gals tell me if there are any galaxies visible from suburban north Perth? If so, which ones and at what times? I have a 12" dob and for widefield, a pair of Oberwerk BT100-45 binocs.

You want smallish high surface brightness ones and a couple of the best examples of those would be ngc3115 spindle galaxy in sextans, and ngc5102 in Centaurus.

Both are well placed for viewing this time of year.
