Hi All

Does anyone have any experience of running a SW EQ6 Pro with Sky 6 i.e. what scope do you select in setup ?

Can you add config details for the EQ6 Pro in some way ?

From page 11 of the synscan manual:

Another feature of SynScan is the ability to connect to a compute rvia a serial communication cable. Many commercially available planetarium softwares can be used to control SynScan. SynsCan Version 3.00 and later is compatible with Celestron 5i/8i and NexStar GPS command protocal

I use TheSky, AstroPlanner, CdC etc to control the HEQ5pro... no issues!
The Celestron5i is the scope setup for the Synscan V3.
The BEST USB>Serial adaptor I've found is the KEYSPAN. Works 100% every time!

I will try Celestron 5i or NexStar setting as advised and see how I go.
