Smile AGWA Field Trip to Mukinbudin - Eagle Nebulas

Hi All,

Another image taken at Mukinbudin last weekend was the Eagle Nebula.

The dominated red in this image was a real challenge for my unmodified Canon 20D which blocks most of this wavelength. The resulting image is normaly a awful violet colour which I have adjusted to move the hue towards what we expect from this image.

Your comments would be most welcome.

Thanks in Advance

Chris

Slightly soft focus Chris, but I have no experience at that focal length so take my comments with that in mind.

Surprised you're getting a red-heavy image with your unmodded DSLR.

Way to go pushing the envelope with exposure and iso settings - kudos!!

Always love seeing those pillars of creation!
Nice One...

Nice Chris, The red looks pretty good to me. Stars look a little on the large side, maybe a small focus problem.
